ONELINER.Q-A - Main Questionnaire
ONELINER.BAT - OneLiner main batch needed.
ONELINER.DOC - OneLiner DOC file - You're reading it!
ONELINER.HIS - OneLiner History File

DONATION.LST - Donating Users...Thanks!
TCS_AD.TXT - The Concession Stand BBS Info.
IST-TRIM.EXE - IST-Trim is a little program which will trim the top of a
Specific textfiles... fast! This file is necessary to make
OneLiner work. This is a separate program not created by
myself, and I am not responsible for what happens
with the use of the 3rd party Utility. It's a solid program.
IST-TRIM.DOC - A little brief doc for this utility.
WHATSNEW.150 - New Information about v1.50! MUST READ
SCREENS.ZIP - File Containing the ANSi screens, unzip to TextFiles Dir.
╘═ ONETOP.ANS - Top Header file for OneLiner.
ONEMID.ANS - Sample Text, will be replaced by Inputted Text.
ONEBOT.ANS - Bottom Header file for OneLiner.
ONEIN.ANS - OneLiner Input File Marker
ONECYAN.ANS - Default Cyan Color Selection Screen
ONEINFO.ANS - Program Information screen for OneLiner.
ONEINFO.ASC - Program Information screen for OneLiner <ASCii>.
ONECOLOR.ANS - Color Selection screen for OneLiner.
* Yeah, there's a few ANSis here, but being the master programmer that I am,
and knowing all the ANSI codes <yeah right>, i decided to make these
screens. They all begin with ONExxxx, so that you make a note not to
delete them.... Just UnZip these to your Textfiles directory.

OneLiner is a just a simple OneLiners program, which has the capabilities
of holding 13 one liners, and allow the user to define which color he/she
wants to use.
OneLiner will be loaded VERY fast within RemoteAccess. The reason is
because it's a RemoteAccess questionnaire! Allows you to add whatever
you want in here, such as RA Menu Commands.. Don't know why.. but..

Avatar =MIGHT= screw this thing up.. I dont allow Avatar on my board,
and I disabled IEMSI logins so that they cannot call in with AVATAR ON.
I know, it was too good to be true, but it might give you trouble if
someone with AVT on enters a liner, and then someone without AVT on
tries to view it, you might just see the AVT crap..

Couldnt be any easier, follow these methods:
1.) Stick the ONELINER.Q-A in your RA Questionnaire directory.
2.) Stick IST-TRIM.EXE somewhere in your %PATH%
3.) UnZip the SCREENS.ZIP into your Textfile directory.
4.) Stick ONELINER.BAT in your C:\RA directory.
╘═ make sure you modify the paths in this batch file to your needs.
5.) Stick the left over files in the its own directory.
6.) Have your menu command look like this for execution of OneLiners:
[Menu Command]:
Action Execute a questionnaire (Type 12)
Display ; <-- Display Field, yours could vary.
OptData oneliner <-- OptData Field
HotKey 3
AutoExec No
Colour Colour example
MinSec 0 TimeUsed 0 FlatCost 0
MaxSec 0 TimeLeft 0 TimeCost 0
A flags -------- Age 0 Terminal ANY
B flags -------- MinSpeed 0 Nodes
C flags -------- MaxSpeed 0 Groups
D flags -------- Credit 0 DayTimes
Also, it's a good idea to AutoExecute this from the TOP.MNU.

─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
There shouldnt be ANYTHING which will go wrong, by using a little
Questionnaire file. But in any case...
If something happens with using OneLiner, it's your fault not mine!
If something happens with using IST-Trim, check out the .DOC file about
legal notices at the very end of the textfile.

▒▒▒▒ Drawing Your Own Screens ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
If you really want to draw up your own screens, it's fine by me, but
I have 2 little requirements about this:
o Keep my name on the info screen.
o Keep the program's name & version number on the new screens.
If you want to create your own screens, here are the specifics:
ONETOP.ANS -- Clear Screen Saving, Needs Animation Placement..
ONEMID.ANS -- This file doesnt need to be touched.
ONEBOT.ANS -- Home Screen Saving, Needs Animation Placement..
ONEIN.ANS -- Home Screen Saving, Needs Animation Placement.. (*)
ONECYAN.ANS -- Home Screen Saving, Needs Animation Placement.. (*)
ONECOLOR.ANS -- Clear Screen Saving, Needs Animation Placement..
ONEINFO.ANS -- Clear Screen Saving.. nothing special needed.
(*) - These 2 files are only needed in the Default Screen Pack <SCREENS.ZIP>
Animation Placement.. Means that after the screen was drawn, animate it,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and then you MUST put a placement on the screen,
literally, hit the spacebar at the 80th column
on a specific line, so that it will be outputted right.
Home Screen Saving.. Means that a file being saved with Home Screen, will be
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ displayed ontop of another file.
Clear Screen Saving.. Means that it'll be a regular file saving, when the file
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ is being displayed, it'll be on a "Clear" background,
not on another file..
▒▒▒▒ The LOG File ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
There is now a log file which gets generated after someone writes a
OneLiner. All done through the questionnaire & batch file! If a
LOG file doesnt exist, it'll automatically create one for you at a
specific directory.
The LOG file looks like RemoteAccess' "Compact" log format:
---------- ·■[ OnELiNER v1.50 ]■· [Program Log]
---------- Mon, 01-14-96, ·■[ OnELiNER v1.50 ]■· (Line #03)
> 20:12:00 Eric Staufer: This is a TEST of OneLiner v1.50!
---------- Tue, 01-14-96, ·■[ OnELiNER v1.50 ]■· (Line #02)
> 15:24:00 John Doe: No Whammies, No Whammies... and STOP!
You can change the path to the log file, very simply.. Go into the
ONELINER.BAT, and then edit all the paths where they say C:\LOGS\
to where you'd like. Make sure you edit them all.
There is no Registration required for this. There's nothing that you get
for sending in money, no special features, etc. What you see is what you
get. I spent 3 months working on this, trying to think of the perfect
screens to put this release out. Boy, that Q-A was a pain to make.
What other OneLiner program, allows you to make your own screens, allow
full RemoteAccess commands in their program, allow the user to change the
color of their lines without registration, and best of all seems like its
built in to RemoteAccess? I dont think any.
If you are willing to send in a small $5, I'll be more than happy to come
up with more little Q-A programs.
Also, Check out my new creation which I made out of a Questionnaire!
The NEWZ, it's a News Bulletin Generator, which holds upto 7 lines of
messages. Great little program, allows the color of the body to be
selectable at the end (15 colors). Can be used as Note to Next Caller
Name: TNEWZ100.ZIP (as of 06-27-95)
Magic: THENEWZ
Size: 13k
For FREQing address, see the bottom of the doc for my address.
